It was my friend's birthday and we wanted to experience something new. We came to Mrs. Smokeys and we're very pleased we chose it. We were greeted as we came in and the gentleman that greeted us was very helpful. He suggested the Cornbread Brisket Lasagna and we both decided to try it and it was delicious. The owner came to our table and wished my friend Happy Birthday as well as offer a dessert treat to celebrate. The atmosphere was enjoyable. There were cute sayings on the walls. We had a great time. I would definitely recommend it if you love Barbecue and great service.

There are your cookie cutter BBQ restaurants out there, and south Florida is littered with them, from chains, to all sorts of gimmicks, to bbq places who take no pride anymore in their cooking and food .... Let's make one thing clear, Mrs. Smokey's is NOT one of these places. The restaurant itself is beautiful, warm and inviting, simple down home ambiance, very comfortable, as soon as you walk in you feel welcome. The food was excellent, the baby back ribs I had were perfectly smoked and extremely tender, the mild sauce was just right and not at all overwhelming the smokey taste of the meat itself, great balance of flavors, nothing at all over done, just GOOD bbq. The sides I ordered were simple, just tots (crispy) and Mac n cheese, my classic favorites, zero complaints as well. Now on to the staff and service. Fantastic attitude and service all around. I absolutely cannot find a single bad thing or complaint to say about this place. Mrs. Smokey herself and her family still work here at this establishment, SUCH a pleasant person, pleasant smile and genuine attitude towards not just me but every single customer that came in today. What a great experience. She came over to my table to ask for my feedback on the food and we spoke a few times throughout my visit, you can tell she has such a passion for what she does, from back when she started in 1979 all the way until today, she is someone who takes pride and passion in not just the quality of her food but her service, and the way she values her customers, every restaurant should take notes on how she runs her restaurant. I first ate at Mrs. Smokey's right before Covid, and since then a lot of restaurants have really dropped in quality especially BBQ however this is not the case with Ms Smokey's. The shredded brisket was delicious, and the blazing sauce has remained just as hot and delicious, definitely not for the weak! The collards were great, and the BBQ beans too. My only critique was the biscuit didn't have much flavor but my experience was great overall.

The food was good, the seating area clean, and the staff friendly. The menu was filled with a variety of options and the portions were very fair for the price. We had two sandwiches and some sides, the hot sauce had a hint of ghost in it and was perfect to add some nice heat to the brisket.

We dined here for the first time today. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was next level great. We will definitely come back, even though for us is a far drive it is most certainly worth it. 5 plus stars!

Literally the best ribs I’ve ever had! And was pleasantly surprised that the owner was able to confirm that the ribs are gluten free! My husband and his friend who attends rib fest every year, loved their ribs also! The service was also so good, so friendly and helpful! We will be back for sure :)

Drove 80 miles from Miami cruise port to eat here on the way to Orlando. So worth it! Beware the spicy BBQ sauce as it packs a bit of a punch. Fountain soda The biscuit served with meals is divine. We had rib tips which may not be available all the time.

Outside of Texas this is definitely 5 stars! We had the brisket platter , collard greens & tater tots. All tasted amazing& the staff were super friendly. Cute atmosphere inside & great space to eat outside.
